Patience

A poem by Richard Ikolo

Patience does not subscribe to hurry
Patience will never give in to worry
Patience believes in slow and steady
Patience will tarry until you're ready
Patience is the sister of perseverance
Patience is the brother of forbearance
Patience is different from ignorance
Patience is an act of endurance
Patience may appear difficult at first
Patience will make you smile at last
Patience will never complain
Patience will take time to explain
Patience will always remain calm
Patience has all your desires in its palm
Patience can spend years in the sun
Patience can cook a stone until it's done
Patience is the first, second, third and fourth leg in a relay
Patience will always triumph over false accusation and delay
Patience is a quality you should desire
Patience is a virtue we all require.
